Formal

It was an ‘at sea day’ today on the way to Northern Japan and the weather was only ‘force 5’ on the Beaufort scale.
A wonderful day that mixed in a Line Dance class where a rather large lady backed into me too often!
The Captain was at the front of another introduction to the current leg of this Cruise. We had some happy cocktails and ended up in the Restaurant where John had some really rare steak and I had “Maine Lobster’ which tasted like NZ crayfish. Offered at the end, Grappa and Cognac’! Can’t believe it!

Three good things:
1. Another wonderful show after this Cognac’ked enthusiasm! The staff all give John as good as he gives - a lot of imaginative story’s!
2. I tried shots of people in their evening dress - I need a little bit more experience - inside and at night. But this one worked!
3. Still ricocheting off the walls!
What an amazing and interesting time you're having Maggie. Could do without the large lady at line dancing though!

Very distinguished looking couple.

Very elegant. It sounds a really good if only slightly inebriated trip

Didn't they scrub up well !! -- Very elegant -- you are having some wonderful fun time there Maggiemae in spite of the storm and then the big fat lady bumping into you in line dancing !!

And elegant looking couple that seems to be going to the opera instead of going to… An event on a ship. I would say you are doing very well with your inside night shots.

Great formal
Shot. How about a selfie in your fancy get up?? Line dancing seems fraught but keep on ricocheting off those walls not people.

Very posh indeed. Well captured candid in that low light.

Very elegant! Line dancing seems fraught with some peril, at sea.

What a lovely dress she's wearing. Don't get too bruised from ricocheting off the walls ... :)

The subjects are nicely captured.

hope the ricocheting stops soon!...

If you keep richochet-ing you'll be covered in bruises. I suspect everyone looked very elegant in their formal gowns and it was a great evening. If a cruise wasn't on the sea I'd love to go on one - you're making it sound very inviting but unfortunately I don't have sea legs at all!

@nickspicsnz Nope - I have adopted a walk that just misses the walls!

@tristansmum Thanks Stephanie - i have now got to avoiding all people I meet downwind!

@nickspicsnz Well, Nick, you have to take the good with the bad!

@thistle
Well, there seems to be one in every situation, Joyce!

@kiwinanna But if its me, its not my photo, Liana! unless I find somewhere to put it and that is not easy!

Ricocheting off the walls is a "good thing"? :-)

Great capture of this pair on a dress night. Cruise glamour at its best.

Nice looking couple and wonderful photo too. Did not realize there would be that much movement on the ship. Hope this got better for you.
