At the end of a long day the sun sank into the Alaskan sea - a place of many islands and many fjiords and lakes, wooded forests and today - a sunken iPhone! It was in a remote bay where we had landed briefly.
This photo taken on the ship restaurant in a light I could not resist!’'
Three good things:
1. John’s iPhone slipped out of his pocket as he bent to get under the wing of the float plane! He didn’t swear, just looked a bit bomblasted! The good thing he is insured.
2. A good photo is not always assured - you have to wait till one arrives.
3. Only one more day of the cruise and we will arrive in Canada!
You have broken loads of "rules of how to take a good photo" here and ended up with a brilliant one. Excellent B&W. Sorry to hear of your Ooops moment.
Great in b&w. Oh dear sad about the phone - I just had my phone show the blue screen of death then it just expired - I was devastated and definitely did use bad words and no insurance. What a great cruise you have had. thanks for taking me along through your photos.
Gorgeous lighting captured, Maggiemae! (So when will you arrive in Halifax?)
