....in the far west of the South Island - a step further and over the mountain to a remote fjord where we pick up our boat for a 7 day adventure!
Three good things:
1. 6 hours from home and we are snuggled here for one night in a lovely holiday cottage.
2. An interesting (but not pleasurable) experience in a Mexican cafe - run by Indians - in an old church. The cocktails had cordial in them!
3. Wifi in this place was a surprise!

@happypat This is just the start of it Pat. Today (Sun) we climb on a boat, cross the lake, get on a bus and climb over a Pass, descend into Deep Cove, climb on the boat and sail for 3 hours!
