Now in the mountains at Hanmer Springs where there are hot pools - very nice but rather expensive. Anyway at 26deg who wants to get into hot water!
Small disaster when opening up the caravan after a 2 hour journey - the quince jam had jumped out of the cupboard and broken. Jam all over the carpet!
Three good things:
1. Plenty of water to wash the sticky mess off everything.
2. Made Knödels for tea and funnily enough some Germans arrived and parked their German motorhome about 2 metres away! Rather close but thats what happens.
3.Got some anti itch for all my insect bites from the last Park
@pamknowler I love the mountain scenery all around here Pam. The Springs would be great in the winter time with snow! But November might have been cold too!
Nice lighting. No. 2 - you must have lured the Germans in with a scent of home. If you get the chance take a road trip through to Lake Tennyson for awesome reflections and the source of the Clarence River. Lovely place.
The lighting in this photo is amazing. A great shot, Maggiemae. Glad you had enough water to clean it up. I had to laugh at the jumping out of the cupboard. You paint a picture for sure. We rented a motorhome (caravan) once and as we turned the corner the tv started sliding off the kitchen table my son and I were sitting at. Lesson learned. Secure everything and then secure it more. Sounds like a fun time except for the itch and bugs. But that is how it is at parks like this. Sounds wonderful to me. FAV
@darsphotos We rented a motorhome ages ago when we took our cat and she perched on top of the motor vent on the dashboard and.........! The smell! No cats or dogs now!
@maggiemae What a horrible thing to have happen to you. I can just imagine how bad that was. Our cats were never cats to travel and just had one dog who also stayed home with friends who watched over him. Very funny. The stories.
