This camping place is a bit like Coronation Street! So many campervans trying to fit into places like ours all around us. People don’t seem to mind being observed doing their washing, changing clothes, drinking wine etc.
This vehicle parked very close to us and I was fascinated with what was packed in here! A racing car with lots of spares, odds and ends - the front and the back and no wife! She is not keen on coming to the racing events! The whole vehicle smelt of oil and he sleeps, eats and changes in it!
Three good things:
1. The cleaning lady knew John, approached him for a photograph - one of two so far and eventually bought a book.
2. A quiet cider in one of the bars in the main street - most people around us were looking at their mobiles whereas we were just talking to each other! Amazing that we still have things to talk about - after over 50 years!
3. Burnt bread got chucked out - sparrows are getting into it all! I did ask John to look after the toast while I was out, and naturally he forgot it! The good thing is the smoke alarm works!
One way of finding out if everything works proper in your caravan and the birds loved the nonetheless. not a great place to sleep. no wonder the missus stays home.
Good shot! At first, I could not see his sleeping place. My son went on a trip a few years ago and his sleeping arrangements were similar. I cannot see doing this though.
Ah yes! Welcome to the camping world. Our son and wife are desert off road bike/motorcycle enthusiasts, and I can imagine some of their friends recreational vehicles probably look similar!!
Not for me, but, so many people find this great & wouldn't have to do much "housework' while away. I see why his wife is not keen...love your three things...
A Burt Munro soulmate by the looks of this chap! A expect he's a very happy man! Life on the open road shows you all walks of life! I have got all behind with your doings but feel well enough during the night to comment a bit, things are looking up!
@happypat I know what it feels like not to be able to lift your head off the pillow Pat! But gradually you will feel more like moving. Not too fast or you will have a relapse, heaven forbid!
I had to keep looking at this image - so many things to see - I wonder if his wife doesn't travel with him for many reasons - the main one being that it's a skinny little bed tucked in amongst the bits and bobs.
