Out of one camping ground and after 2 hours into another. Some nice scenes on the way like this road through the high pass- 960 meters, where the native beech trees grow with their lovely black trunks and darkish green leaves. Taken through the windscreen as there was nowhere to stop on this route.
Three good things:
1. It rained and rained - good for some places in NZ but there was no drought here. Cold too - we had the car heater on!
2. No jams fell out of the cupboard but the smoke alarm fell off the ceiling! It will still work.
3. Lots of wildflowers alongside a walking trail by the big flowing river alongside this camp. If I described them in words like in a book it would paint a beautiful picture in the mind!
Love the image and the soft green of the foliage. We had a TV break loose, despite some internal rattles it still worked. Happened at the start of a 3 month outing. Takes time for things to settle in.
Slowly but surely everything will settle as it should. Hoping there is no major damage as it does. Beautiful greens contrasting nicely against those black trunks.
