These baby spiders - were only about a pinhead in size!
My DIL (daughter in law) has come on board with me and pointed out this large family on the side of their house! So I set out with my camera!
Three good things:
1 I needed to do several things before my camera could focus on something so small and so close.
2. They seemed to be a yellow colour after downloading the shots!
3. A Tornado warning in the area turned out to be just an alert!
OMG... now I will have the heebie jeebies for the remainder of the day! I don't like spiders. Not even babies! Still, you did a great job capturing them because it made shivers go down my spine!
@maggiemae They'll float off to make their own homes somewhere. If they float south to mine, they won't live long. They don't even get inside my apartment.
A nicely focused shot, they are colourful.
The river is this side of the bank that you see and quite a lot lower. The kids love it and the corner shop must make a fair amount judging by the amount of new nets you see each time we visit!
A wonderful close-up shot of them. You have done a magnificent job getting to detail down so well. Apparently you get all the correct things to get your camera to focus on them. Sorry to hear about your tornado warning. That something we are a bit used to hear and it sounds like you Got the tail end of the bad weather we have recently had
@grammyn So much to learn in this supposedly small camera. By making mistakes is the best way to learn! No tornados around the city though it was windy but not as windy as we can get it at home - blow you off the road!
@inthecloud5 After I had poked my finger at them, they shot back to the top and huddled together - all the better to spray, said the 'evil householder"
