Canyon Territory by maggiemae

Canyon Territory

I have to say this is one of the most photographic regions of the world.
Today we took a boat trip down Lake Powell and further down Antelope Canyon.
The huge cliffs were only a metre away when we twisted and turned down this geological marvel
Three Good Things”
1. Cream cheese on toast is an altogether delicious thing to have for breakfast!
2. Our boat trip was a good time to do it - late afternoon. The scenes kept coming as the sun went down.
3. The huge resort we had booked to have dinner overlooking Lake Powell had a complete power failure! Sat outside and got more pics. But no dinner then………
Fabulous capture, such wonderful scenery!

Such a beautiful picture of your experience. Especially well done since you were in shadow
A good thing you had cream cheese and toast if you had no supper!

@grammyn ..... then we went back to the town and ate hamburger and I taught the young waiter how to make a martini!

July 28th, 2017
the people seemed misplaced, but thank heavens they can't go and touch the rocks. sometimes that doesn't place well with me, when tourists are touching rocks and plants in such setting. that place looks marvelous!

@summerfield They were all told on the PA system, not to touch, Vikki - as the captain put it - 'the boat will win'!
