Leaving the Grand Canyon behind smothered in cloud - not a good photograph… and headed out into a moonscape of Mesa’s and Buttes. This was a scene just as we entered the tourist scene in Page, Utah, near Lake Powell
Three good things:
1.Saw several deer in the National Park, two of which/whom had huge antlers
2. Didn’t see any rattlesnakes in the ancient Indian ruins of Tusayan.
3. Finally got a room in a town poised on a huge valley where Lake Powell extended down so many canyons.
@terryliv You will be entranced Poppo! The mountains, mesa's and buttes are so original and unique - history and geography in one. I'd allow enough light to get into the shadows to see form - like about F8, then ISO 100 and exposure 100 to 250.
