As it happens…. our Munro relation roared into our driveway on his motorbike together with a beautiful American lady from Wisconsin who had asked Lee to show him the NZ sights.
Unfortunately our young American lady suffered a motorbike accident with the result that several bones in her foot were broken. She needed the strong arm of Lee and my John to move her anywhere.
This is the two of them on the way home fairly late in the evening!
Three good things:
1. I don’t ride motorbikes
2. Its great to meet a young lady putting her injuries aside and with bright eyes and a smile, wanted to know more!
3. I was able to give her a gift on an Oamaru Stone tea light holder. Unique being from our area!
She sounds like a trouper maggie! Just the sort of girl a man would enjoy taking about! I expect you had a very interesting visit! Good job you weren't on your travels!
What a great angle that makes the viewer feel the need to pull back because that motorbike might just roar into the scene! Hope her foot is better soon!
Nice shot, I've had several bikes my last one being a Yamaha fzs 1000, It's gone now sold =( I've got my eye on a Triumph Street Twin for next summer =)
