The Line-up by maggiemae

The Line-up

A tour around Prague proved to be fascinating and beautiful! Old buildings as early as the 12 Century and still standing. Apparently Prague avoided the bombing at the end of World War One which meant that these buildings were not destroyed.
At the Town Square there were lots of small booths selling anything from chocolate to honey wine to hot dogs and huge hams rolling around over a wood fire! Its the last day they are there and will all be gone tomorrow.
Three good things:
1. I saw this group of children all lined up in their winter outfits for a photo and couldn’t resist!
2. Just getting used to the Czech kroner and its all going to change once again.
3. Tiring day all this sightseeing - glad to tumble into our bed!
These kids look so sweet waiting there patiently. My guess is that they were waiting for their share of the sweets or cakes.

Good capture. Reminds me of a short stay in Prague. I was fascinated by the artistic buildings, cobbled streets and beautiful art.
January 8th, 2018
@veengupta Cobbled streets, pavements - so old and still so good. Bit hard dragging a suitcase along though!
