We descended down 2000 metres through the cloud into Lucerne and booked at an old hotel built in 1889. The front was floodlit and our room was at the front - found the blind in the morning!
This was up on the 7th floor where there was a bar and tapas room- very modern and beautifully lit. I thought it was not in focus but John told me it was the double glazing effect when taken from an angle!
Three Good Things;
1. Can breathe so much more easily.
2. Bought a new travel bag - my other one purchased for the trip fell to bits - you get what you pay for!
3. No indigestion.
Such an appealing image - so clear yet in a day dream ! Fav - Glad the lower altitude is better for you ,and you will enjoy your stay in beautiful Lucerne :)
That is awesome and such a neat effect. Glad to hear that you are breathing better. High altitude can make breathing rather difficult. I noticed it when I went hiking up a mountain in Banff with my daughter.
Really creative shot. Glad you are feeling better. I think you were probably suffering from altitude sickness. You can start getting symptoms once you are higher than 2000 metres.
Lucerne - the beautiful home of the Kapellbrücke at the gorgeous lake. Haven't been there in years, loved it. Glad you're feeling better and I like this golden image.
So glad things are easier for you now - it is a shame that you can not stay a little longer. This is quite a change in view for you, and an interesting take.
