A nice drive down the road to the next city where our car needed a “recall’ for something! No hail, snow or wild winds.
This was at our lunch restaurant called “Speights” which is an award winning brewery. This wall is obviously the old style of tanks laid horizontally.
Three good things:
1. Got a courtesy car to drive from our dealers which should have been used on a high country farm. Not in a city where it poked out a lot on a parking spot!
2. Looked at OLED and QLED Tvs and I made a decision but John’s was different, I think!
3. I bought a ‘Fitbit’ and am enthusiastic about how it will encourage me to exercise and rest too!
Great place to have lunch ... When we were there a few years back The Southern Man rode through on his horse .. and some bag pippers came through .. it was a real treat .. It was ANZAC day ..
@louannwarren Go with it, Lou Ann! lots of fun - a fitbit is better though and not so expensive. You can put down what you eat and then how you exercise and it works out what your balance is. At the moment its telling to 'move'! I'm ignoring it!
FAscinating juxstaposition of vats, chandeliers and tables! Can't wait to hear how you do with the Fitbit. My children gort me a simple one two years ago and It keeps me on the move! I get at least 10,000 steps most days
@grammyn I have in the past used just my iPhone and that is not on me all the time. It will be interesting to see what I do during the day! Have to put what i eat too which will also be interesting!
Very interesting picture. Good luck with the fit bit! Not sure if I want one yet.....I might go to bed happy every night or I might feel like I should be running round the block instead!
My car is on a recall too maggie, will have to go in when I get back. Apparently cars stoping suddenly for no reason, scary if you're on a motorway. I rang up before I came out but there are no parts, car firm in Germany has run out of parts! A fit bit sounds good, I fancy one of those myself, might give me incentive to keep moving! Will be interested to see how you go on with that!
@janemartin Your opinion is worthy of consideration, Jane! I'm not sure that it will feature too much - if I really don't care! But I do have the option of being aware!
@happypat Luckily our car got the whatever fixed and we got a good car clean as well! My fitbit is fascinating.... can tell during the night if I'm awake and also how I am sleeping - rem and light and deep etc.
