Winter crept in to our area bringing cold winds and some rain showers so I stayed inside and walked round and round trying to get more steps recognised on my fitbit. I even jumped on the trampoline and that was set down too.
Three good things;
1. A huge plant of parsley survived all odds and is like a green umbrella in the garden. I broke some stalks off and put it in a vase for use over the next few days.
2. Our internet went on and off again all day…. we might change our provider.
3. Facetime with two of our sons, one in Japan and one in Canada! Isn’t technology wonderful!
Beautiful color and composition to your image. Good on you for walking around and what a blessing to be almost in the same place with family because of technology
Wow that is awesome parsley. I’ve walked around the block with Jerry at 10 o’clock PM when he was trying to finish a circle on his Apple Watch, which is just like a Fitbit, but bossier! 😊
What super parsley, looks good in that pretty vase...I don't like trampolines, but, i go to Zumba classes & in 45 mins clock up 5000-5500 steps & it is such fun.
Nice parsley! I agree..Facetime has revolutionised how we in the antipodes cope with our offspring travelling as much as they do. In the late 60's my parents had to book a phone call for 3 minutes to talk to my brother,who went to study overseas, then write and tell him when the call would be coming so he would be there for it.
Hi Maggie. Loved the part about the fitbit. We do have a competion here. Daughter in London and one here. Ha ha I am last everyday. With a crutch you can think how far behind!
Hans seeds a lot of parsley and garlic chives and we bring them in and wash, cut and freeze them for during the winter month. your bunch of parsley looks nice iin this pretty vase.
A nice vibrant green. Summer is coming to our area. Enjoy your Fitbit. It does help to motivate. I have terrible knee pain and am going to seek a chiropractor for help since the MRI and X-ray were clean. It has been painful to walk for 3 months and the cortisone shot did nothing.
@maggiemae No, thank goodness! I don't need a new knee. I thought maybe I had a torn meniscus that needed repair but it isn't even that. They say everything looks fine but it doesn't feel fine. I will try the chiropractor because I thought it may be out of alignment and/or physical therapy. I will also try to lose a few pounds because for every pound you lose, it takes four pounds of pressure off your knee. I can't think of anything else...thanks for listening! :)
