With my new knowledge of what to do when the camera can’t focus on the subject using auto, I reinforced my memory by repeating the exercise on a close up with the most beautiful rhododendrons just outside the window!
As sometimes happens, look forward to seeing this shot on the Black - 365 is the only one!
Three Good Things;
1. Remembering from the day before!
2. Another great grandchild has made an entrance - this time in Atlanta. I’ve lost the plot! Now 23 Great Grandchildren!
3. Our NZ Prime Minister, Jacinta Ardern is coping in the World Scene so beautifully! She’s au fait with all sorts of subjects, and also dealing so well with her new baby and breast feeding too! An example!
Love your picture. It's really beautiful.

I heard about the new baby of course but not heard anything since, thought she might be lying low! I didn't know John had five daughters the first time around....must be hard to keep track! Congrats on new great granddaughter! Beautiful frilly rhoendrons!
So beautiful on black! Your lovely PM was on television here earlier this week and I was so impressed with her! Congratulations to your country for voting her into office!
OMG, your lot's been very busy in the reproductive department, you'd have to give them numbers. I'm a huge admirer of Jacinta in her own right, and even more in comparison with the pack of whackers we've had as PM in recent years. Talk about the coup capital of the southern hemisphere, you Kiwis put us to shame. Love your photo BTW.
That is so amazing, congratulations on the latest family member. I should imagine you all started very young. It must be very difficult to organise a family outing with so many members. Love your capture of this beautiful flower.
twenty-three great-grandchildren??? i hope i will have your zest for life if i ever get to that point. you must have been a very young mother. oh, and a lovely image by the way!

Beautiful photo of your rhododendrons and good for you to remember two days in a row
