Reading a web page on how to do macro - didn’t work for me in manual. The camera just would not focus. So I resorted to set scenes.
This pelargonium has done well this year - probably because we pruned it severely!
Be good on the Black...
Three good things:
1. These belong to the family of geraniums but confusingly, Geranium is the botanical name of a separate genus of related plants often called cranesbills. One learns...
2. Lovely warm day - no need for a fire.
3. Eating a sandwich with one side a chewy crust resulting in most of the filling going all over me and the floor! Got down on my knees and brushed it up! Hey ho for a brush and shovel!
So sorry about your post-sandwich gymnastics, but I can just picture it all. It's the kind of thing that happens to me all the time. Les just rolls her eyes! Love the photo BTW.
Lovely colours and capture.
Ps, the sheep roam free on the moor and are only brought in to lamb in early spring. Cattle grids stop them from wandering where they shouldn’t.
Pretty arrangement. If you are serious about macro you'll need a camera that properly focuses in manual so you can chose the focal point rather than letting the camera do it.

Spilling half your food on the flood sounds like a severe form of diet to me!
