Kayaking Paradise

Not quite high tide - you can see the sand bank out there. But deep enough to paddle out into this beautiful scenery!
Three Good Things:
1. Getting used to being woken up by the first plane out of Nelson - 6.30am. The airport is right next door!
2. This camp has notices everywhere... 'no dogs'. Out there on the beach all day people are throwing sticks for their enthusiastic pets. On naughty labrador made its way through into the camp chased by its frantic owner! He took absolutely no notice of her shouting his name and carried on - past me, ordering him back and on round the camp! Eventually caught by the man who has a motorbike and a small tent here.
3. Peanut butter on hot toast!
