Where the feet may travel..

The rumbling sounds of heavy machinery nearby made me curious and on walking round I found a new footpath has been formed! They do a really good job!
Three Good Things:
1. Our rates pay for this work - nice to see.
2. Huge juicy grapes with no seeds.
3. BBC Nature films
Like the way it takes your eye up to the end and over .. following those cones .really nice capture with the colours

Love the march of those red bollards....takes your eyes right to the end! Footpaths are always good things!

@happypat We don't have one just outside our place which is just round the corner to the right! People get wet feet walking on the grass when it rains!

Fun use of selective color- now I know which way I should walk on this path!

Wow, good to see the rates producing something useful. Interesting piece of trivia for you re BBC nature films. Apparently, coverage of an annual spider crab event (new shells) at a Victorian bayside town has had the unwanted effect of bringing hordes of fishing people down there who are catching the poor darned crabs by the umpteen. Not even good type of crabs to eat either!! The locals had tried to keep the thing very quiet, but the BBC blew it.

@golftragic Oh dear - they will have to charge a huge visitor permit!

@ludwigsdiana We keep asking the Mayor when we are going to get a footpath outside our property (just round this corner to the right) but he can't find a good reply!

@maggiemae I would prefer that Fisheries and Wildlife put strict bag limits on and then enforce same. The silly thing is that these particularly crabs aren't even good eating.

Nice to have a new sidewalk (footpath), Good job with selective color.

A much safer way to walk the streets

@golftragic Maybe next year there won't be any coming! Who would want tasteless crabs!
July 2nd, 2019
@maggiemae The silly b-----s have, so we're told, been coming for several years now. I despair.
July 2nd, 2019
@golftragic What about spreading a rumour that crabs will give crabs to the receiver?

Follow the yellow cone road… ;-p
