* Clio is the protector of history. In ancient Greece, the word for "history" was "clio" (which is derived from "Kleos," the Greek word for the heroic arts). Depictions of Clio portray her holding a clarion in her right arm and a book in her left hand.
* Yolanda of course, loves to play and hauled her own clarion from the case (as one does!) to the party! She belted out “I’m just a girl who can’t say no” and Clio looked a bit disturbed!
* You can see Zeus in the background smoking a cigar - after all he had 9 daughters- all at the same time apparently!
* Three Good Things;
* 1. Zeus must have had magic powers!
* 2. Who would want a Zeus as a husband?
* 3. Fish and chips - fish was orange roughy!
Zeus looks a bit like John...have you cloned him? Yolanda is moving in rather upmarket circles these days.....she must mind her P’s & Q’s, Fish was orange roughy...what sort is that ..you mean smoked haddock perhaps?
@happypat That Zeus has got horns! Never seen John with horns - horny maybe! Orange Roughy facts: Also known as: Slimehead, Deep Sea Perch, Redfish, Orangefish, Red Roughy! Crikey - slimehead!
Orange roughy? Yummo. As for Yolanda, I know Clio very well and she too can be somewhat fickle and/or unpredictable. They should make an interesting pair.
@s4sayer I woke up one day and just thought -12 Muses. Found out there were only 9 but I was so pleased to learn about them. Greek history must be better than Roman perhaps!
I enjoy orange roughy too. Yolanda is quite talented & fancy her in company with Clio & Zeus...what adventures lay ahead. As long as she doesn't start smoking cigars.
@happysnaps That's true, Valerie! She has practiced with so many instruments and a clarion is no challenge! She has watched Mr Man smoking cigars and she actually prefers not to smell like that all night!
