Knitting Patterns

The cafe we went to on our arrival back in NZ was like it was replicating the 1960's with old radios and old paraphanalia including a wall of old knitting patterns -quite delightful. Even found the one style I knitted for hubby in the '60's!

Oh my, how fantastic! My mum knitted most of my clothes as a child and my grandmother and great aunt knitted a lot too. Grew up looking at patterns like these and wearing some of the results!

@casablanca It was our world but no longer - cheap knits are so cheap and of course the children grow out of them so fast!

Knitting patterns how they remind me of getting quite excited about deciding which pattern to go for...some quite famous people were models for knitting patterns Roger Moore for instance!
