The flower I always forget

...the name - it begins with C - I think!
Anyway these are on a white fence and John had thought they were expired and cut them right back to the main trunk. I love the colour and the perfect shape of these.
Thankful for:
Cold rain the bedroom window - a southerly coming through but we are warm and cosy!

Clematis ... beautiful .. they die back and then come back to life in the spring .. probably did it a favour by cutting it back ..

Clematis indeed. I love these too. I have a montana version in my garden against a fence. Grows like crazy in Summer and is prolific for flowers

Looks like the cutting back did good.....flowering beautifully. So many varieties of clematis, it’s hard to pick a favourite!
