Bird on a Wire (branch) by maggiemae

Bird on a Wire (branch)

Today was the first review of my skin graft. I was horrified at the look of it but the Dr said it looked OK.

At home we had wonderful thunderstorms and downpours. I got this bird sitting on a high branch against the sky. Could look good on the Black…

Thankful for:
My Macbook Air was able to be updated to “Catalina” but my iMac was too old! I wonder if I can be updated or am I too old!
Glad to hear that you are reassured and all is going well with the skin graft ! Lovely shot - love the mono treatment ! Optimistic - Never too old Maggie !!

Great processing. It's great to hear you recover. Don't update. Stay yourself.

The bird has quite a view. My friend who had the same surgery as you was horrified when she first saw her skin graft too but it looks fine now

Lovely shot. My friend had quite a big skin graft on her lower arm. It is almost not noticeable now. Hang in there 😉

Love the way birds pick the highest viewpoints.

Someone else on here recently updated to Catalina and their photos all got mixed up and their neat albums and catalogues disappeared.......I think you are better off! I am avoiding it like the plague at the moment til they sort out all the issues.

Sounds like your leg is doing well. When my Dermatologist took some "lesions with ambitions" from my lower leg, he told me legs take longer to heal than higher up the body because the fluid tends to pool and it is working against gravity. Sounds like it is doing well, it will just take time and then you'll be good as new. Sort of. Well, any more than any of us can be with a few years behind us!! Wishing you all the best with your recovery.

A lovely B & W image. I concur with everyone that skin grafts take a lot of time to heal. You won’t even be able to tell where it is a few months from now!

I don’t like updates of any kind.....they mix everything up & remove stuff I want to keep. I have just had my iPhone updated against my will overnight. Someone told me I can switch the updating option off on settings....wish I had known that before! Even though I’ve switched it off it’s still trying to update the next stage of the programme, I keep saying later, later, I hope it eventually gets fed up asking! Skin grafts are frightening but it will be ok in the end!

Ooh nice capture..very effective.glad you doing ok..just will take time.take care

@happypat The problem with not updating is that eventually things won't work at all but your program is out of date. But its good to hear what @casablanca says about photos as I have thousands on the big computer! I also have a message popping up about security all the time and when i investigate it says I have to pay!

@brennieb Thanks Brennie - John and I are sharing culinary duties in the kitchen now - a new status - never before in our 60 year relationship!

@happysnaps Thank you Valerie - so much - but really I'm only one of so many that are suffering in someway! And I will come right!

@maggiemae Ha ha, I hope no-one does!! You will heal. Just a wee bit longer than you would probably like to finish the job! PS on Catalina for Mac, if you google it you will find a ton of problems. Avoid like the plague!!
