the flower of tomato

I don't think I've ever seen one. Our one plant has developed these three flowers! I did learn you have to fertilise them - not too difficult - my stepdaughter said - just touch the trusses gently! Thankful for; Getting a photo today so close to home! From morning condition not so good to later really feeling better.
Lovely. I adore the hair on the stems!

Great photo. Isnt nature amazing that such delicate flowers can become tomatoes. We managed 4 mini ones on our 2 plants this year. 😂😂

so many vegetables, @sarah19 seem to have flowers. Now the chefs like to put them on their dishes. No further fruiting, naturally!

Lovely detail. We had so many tomatoes on our plant last year we had to give a lot of them away.

Hope you are feeling much better and your test was negative.

@grammyn Just down a short concrete path to our glasshouse. I am learning all about what you have to do with tomatoes that I've never known before!

We have had tomatoes in the past but can’t say I have ever had to fertilise them....thought they did it naturally....always had tomatoes so must have been a Devine conception! It’s exciting when they flower....you sound perkier!

@happypat I do feel perkier, not perkiest yet though, Pat. The bees or wind can fertilise the tomatoes but in a glass house you have to help nature a bit!

very nice details, in a little green house we use whats called miracle grow, turns the water a blue. feeds the plants when you water with it.

@rontu I've got food for the plant but have to find out when is the best time to add it to the soil.
