aged 87 up there on the roof of the garage replacing a module - a rain gauge! He was very careful but I stood below dreading a slip or a fall! Fortunately it didn't happen - unlike the ladder fall 2 years ago.
Thankful for:
His confidence and careful planning!
Oh, geez! I can relate though. My aged 69 husband is up on scaffolding all summer replacing our 2nd story windows and insulating the house. I live in FEAR! He's saving us money, but I'd MUCH rather pay to have it done and know he's safe. Ah well! What are we going to do with our stubborn men?
Men will be heros at whatever age - I can imagine how fearful you must have been , or have you taken the ladders away and left him up there !! ( only guesting Maggie )!
Wow John has guts...mind you he’s a fit chap....was that ladder incident two years ago, wow! Good to see him up there doing his own repairs...it only takes one slip though! Thank goodness he lived to tell another tale!
I know how much satisfaction it brought him. But how much trouble and suffering it would cause you if something went wrong. But guys think differently.
We my sis and self have said stop but falls on deaf ears .
It makes no difference to what she gets told at times quite Naughty 👿
