I can't hope to compete - (but that's not the game is) with the wonderful photos on this site! this magnolia flower opened up today and I took this from our deck.

A peaceful day with no challenges, .. except for trying to find John in the potato patch. Some of the potatoes are 1 metre high!
What a beautiful flower on your tree. I have seen many of your photos that can more than compete with what you see on this site. I once had an art teacher that said if one in 25 paintings were good you were to be happy about it. I think the same could be said for this project.

Lovely magnolia flower & it’s good to see it with the leaves surrounding it. We haven't a magnolia tree which flowers very early in the spring here even before the leaves appear. The flowers are gorgeous but the actual tree is pretty boring I always thin. Yours might be a different variety.
It's the fun and creative sight you keep during the day to find photo opportunities. It is great to follow your (and others) journey. And I appreciate your personal touch in the texts aswell.
