Sweet birds..

Every day we have some porridge left over - purposely! These little ring-eyes sit in the background tree trilling and waiting.
The occasional sparrow comes and sits disconsolately hoping for a feed but they don't have a chance.
Snow and rain and cold temps kept us inside for a whole day.

@aikiuser Much smaller than a sparrow but these are native to NZ. But I have found very similar in Australia and South Africa that have different names.
