We were invited to a lunch and a talk about the Otago and Southland Rescue Helicopter Trust today. The lunch was really delicious - tender ham, and four different salads. The talk was informative and of course the Trust needs continuing funding so the groups invited if doing a fund making event can pass the proceeds to this Trust.
We viewed one of the latest helicopters which must have cost megaheaps!
Sounds like an interesting day. I would love to go on a helicopter flight, and they have tourist flights here, but David won't come with me. He said the last time he was in a helicopter he ended up in Beirut, ha ha. (We were in Cyprus at the time with the RAF)
