Yesterday when I was taking pics of the camellias... This bee would NOT budge! I saw bees and wasps all summer but, this is the BIGGEST I have ever seen. A little bigger than an old 50 cent piece in length and over half that in width. Funny thing was, I could not locate any stinger unless it was really tucked way under its lower parts. I wasn't going to disturb it - just in case!
