Meet Jack! by marlboromaam

Meet Jack!

Jack is my charge for a few weeks. I'm dog sitting! Jack's "daddy" didn't want to leave him in a kennel while he made a trip to see family overseas. So, he left him with me. Today makes day 8 with Jack. I think he's gotten over most of his grieving. Poor little guy! Ya just know he thought he'd been left forever! I'm happy to say his appetite has improved tremendously and yesterday, he finally felt like playing with me. =) He's a sweet little guy!
Poor Jack! Pups need their moms & dads.

Hello Jack- so nice to meet you- sorry about your Daddy leaving you behind~ but you have a wonderful sitter that is taking good care of you :) (You can tell him I said that ;) Nice shot!

@shonnys I agree! I've kept him by my side ever since he got here. For the first few days, he cried and cried! When his "daddy" comes back for him, he's gonna be so excited! In the meantime, all I can do is give him lots of attention. =)

@heidievans73 LOL! I'll tell him and thank you! I hope I'm a pretty good dog sitter. I've worried about his appetite and crying but, he's better in both of those departments. He's such a little fella and weighs all of 5 pounds!

Hi Jack, he looks lovely Marlboro and you did a great job showing off his beauty through your camera lens.

Well, he couldn't have gotten a better dog-sitter!! Jack's adorable and you really captured that in his face and especially his eyes. Lovely little miniature and beautiiful color. Once Dad gets back, you'll be history, I'm afraid. That's gratitude for ya! lol :)

@karenann Aww! Karen, thank you for the compliments! You're right! When his dad gets back, Jack will be so excited he'll tinkle all over himself! And I'll be used to the little guy, so I'll miss him. Oh well! =) It is a paying dog sitting job.

beautiful dog!! they sure are amazing companions with their owners arent they?! always thinking that when they are left behind, they are left for good. AS IF we could EVER do that to our pets! mine sits outside the bathrrom door and whines while im in there! haha. Too funny.
December 1st, 2011
@kdimagery LOL! You are so right about that! I have to take him everywhere with me so he won't think I'll leave him, too! He's becoming quite the little companion. I'm gonna miss him when his "dad" comes back to retrieve him. He'll be so excited to see him, too, and he'll forget all about me the moment he's in his "dad's" arms! Oh well!
December 1st, 2011
@marlboromaam LOL, yes, you are probably right when you say that he will forget all about you when his "dad" arrives! My husband always says that dogs do not have a sence of time. That once his "dad" is home, it most likely only felt like a day spent without him. I wonder if he is right....or just full of BS like he is alot of the time. lol. Maybe you will have to get your own dog soon :D ?!!?
December 1st, 2011
@kdimagery Some day, I might get a dog. I'm still missing my mare I had to give up. Will be interesting to see what the future holds during this next year. Hoping this blood sucking economy will go away!
