March 9th, 2012
ooohh nice one, maam.. (kind of just like me "Ravished and virginal")...
March 9th, 2012
Wow, I did not know it would make such a difference! I feel quite traumatized for the poor flower! 8P Awesome shot. And now I know. 8)
March 9th, 2012
LOL! I'd always heard that those bumble bees were a little on the rough side >.> Love this bright yellow.. You're making me wish I'd actually planted something this past summer, lol
March 9th, 2012
Lol, very cool. I love your descriptions :) great shot, love the colour and focus. :)
March 9th, 2012
@deburahiru Thanks, Deb!

@sugarmuser Thank you, Sharon. Yeah, it was up a tree in my woods.

@ebdubay A bit tattered for sure! Thank you, Erinn!

@wannabe Thank you, Catherine! =)

@rach_who Thank you very much, Rach! =)

@veekay LOL! Sorry, Vicki. Thank you!

@darsphotos LOL! I think the other two opened a day or two later, Darlene. Otherwise, they'd look just like the ragged one. These are my "daffodils" since I don't have any planted around here. Thank you for you kind and sweet comments, as always.

@joeboxster LOL! Joe, really?! Ha ha! Thank you!

@myautofocuslife It will become a lovely seed pod to burst open in early spring with new buds on the vine, Livia. Thank you!

@buggus LOL! I think they're really rough on some flowers. Thank you, Oleta. My wild vines are either growing wild in my woods or I dug them up and replanted them around my deck. I used to carry a shovel in the back of my car and would dig stuff up by the side of the road. LOL! Got some wild roses that way. =)

@lizzy_lu123 Aww! Thank you so much, Lisa! Appreciate your comments!
March 9th, 2012

@twinsplusone Aww! Thank you so much, Sharon! Most appreciated!
March 9th, 2012
So … is the difference just "age" in this case, or did something choose one over the others?
Nice shot, BTW!
March 9th, 2012
@mhphoto I know the other two blossoms opened a day or two later or they would look like the other one. The bumbles went after these newer two right after I took that shot. They leave no blossom untouched not even the ragged one! Thank you for your comments, Mike!
March 9th, 2012
Wonderful composition. SO pretty.
March 9th, 2012
I really didn't notice that after the bumbles have bumbled they leave tatters and tears. How very interesting... Pretty whether touched or not. :-)
March 9th, 2012
Nice shot, composition, DOF and colors. Dean Martin Fan?
March 9th, 2012
@lindag After two or three bumbles, they don't look too bad. But after a couple of days of it, they look pretty ragged. LOL! Thank you, Linda!

@markbuehl Thank you, Mark. Kind of, but that's not Dean Martin singing the song in the link.
March 9th, 2012
