Gorgeous. I love Crepe Myrtle. I have a huge one that a little lady from church gave me in a dixie cup - for real - in April that I nursed along until time to really plant it (even took it to my neighbor to "plant sit" while we were out of town) that is now taller than me. One that is a small bush and one that is tree like. Higher Intelligence, indeed.

Oh Maggie you are so right, the best photographers in this world could never do justice! I just watched a movie last night which the powerful magnificence of God is beyond our comprehension and yet we as humans think we got it all figured out.
The ubiquitous crepe myrtle is all over the place here in Calif. They are beautiful, and every summer I can't wait for them to bloom in all their different colors. I know what you mean....can't improve on nature.
