The green sweetgum tree balls (aka monkey balls) I shot recently have turned brown very quickly. Having a little black and white fun, while I can. Always enchanted and fascinated by the textures of these unusual little things!
It's all fun and games until you get one stuck in your foot!! I love those things too but YIKES I never manage to walk near a sweetgum without regretting it :s Love the B&W work on it, m'dear.. Really brings out the textures so well..
@swguevin They are still a pain for me, too. They can tear up my lawn tractor in a heart beat. I pick them up all winter and spring. LOL! I have about a dozen big boxes full for some crafts I want to get to - if I ever find the time. Still, they hold a fascination for me with photos any how. Thank you, Sheila.
