It was much louder than a bee buzz and a little higher pitched. I realize it's grainy and not too clear. The thing moved fast was only still for a second. Anyone care to guess what it is?
Sorry for the mass reply! Thought this would be the best way to tell you what I've found out about this creature... It is a "bee fly" a member of the Order Diptera: Family Bombyliidae. @mantha LOL! According to the info, it doesn't bite or sting. That long snout is for sucking nectar from flowers like a humming bird beak. Thank you, Sam!
