I am so desperately behind in uploading photos, and commenting, and even (to my sorrow) viewing all the great photos everyone is posting. I hate the fact that I'm again uploading a whole bunch all at once.
This is something I took along the country road going back to "The Old Home Place" after a club meeting at the Deep Creek community center, which everyone still calls the "schoolhouse" because it was a one room schoolhouse until the year Frank was ready to start to school. They closed it that year and started busing kids into town. So he missed by a hair attending the same country school his mother did.
Back to the photo -- I liked the grasses along the road illuminated by the headlight going off into the distance. There was no way I was going to be able to capture how the road looked to my eyes. But I did stop the car, put on the caution lights (just in case) and take a couple of shots. I've adjusted some things in PS Elements to try to bring it closer to reality.
Love this... I was just thinking the other day of a shot where headlights provided the lighting. I guess it will be getting darker sooner so maybe I'll get my chance. Nicely done!
