I'm getting behind in posting again (and, to be honest, a bit behind in taking pictures). Last Sunday, in the grocery store, I took a photo of the array of gift cards for restaurants -- just to be able to look at it at home and decide what to give some of the folks who have been working on our house.
On ribbet.com I made another of my patchwork collages -- this time a very basic four panel thing. I've been intending for several days to post the little thing, but then get busy running errands and don't get to the library. By the end of next week, we'll finally be back in our own house.
Hi Mary, well for this week I will give you a challenge that you can combine with your busy chedule of work en moving back to your renovated house. I would love you to make a diptych that shows us that particular part of your renovated house on which you are most proud. It must contain one macro. Hope you have fun with it!
Ah...good challenge. It will be hard because there is so much that I love about the renovation. A macro, huh? Will have to think about what will lend itself to including a macro in a diptych. Thanks!
@3sixty5 Just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten your challenge; it just has been very busy -- we moved ourselves back in on Friday but still have many boxes in the garage or out at the "Old Home Place" where we've been staying. On Saturday I started to take some photos for your challenge and before I got what I wanted the battery died. So I put in the spare and, lo and behold, I had forgotten to charge the spare and BOTH my chargers are still out at the "Old Home Place." Yesterday we woke up to a ton of snow outside, but today the street is cleared and Frank is going out there and getting the chargers, among other necessaries like our BOOTS! LOL
@mcsiegle Haha, the same here. Last week I was home late every day and we had a busy weekend as well. So no time for photography :-(( I love the challenge you gave me so I will redo that later. I will tag you.
