Here you have a fine selection of ID cards -- two of them 70's vintage and my current KSU "Wildcat Card" (ID card) for comparison.
Don't you admire the way I've followed the rules to the letter? If you will notice the old K-State card says "Do Not Destroy." No, siree! I have not destroyed and will not destroy. Pity the photo was on the back so you don't get to see the cool retro Willie the Wildcat on the front. Ah, just as well. My SS # is also on the front. I have artfully concealed my SS# on the Marymount ID and my Wildcat ID on the present-day KSU card.
PS. I also have a great old Manhattan Public Library card, but it has no photo of me, so it didn't make the cut for this picture. It does have a funky metal strip that evidently embossed my card number onto... maybe the card from the book I checked out? I have no problem sharing that number with all of you -- A20643. Honestly, until I recently found the envelope all these things were in, I had no remembrance of metal strips on library cards. But there you go...memories are very fragile and often flawed.
I am following you back.
@howesandraj Thanks, Sandra. I've changed the way I look just a LITTLE bit since the 70's .
