The weather today (Thursday Feb 20) was weird. Started off with a bit of sleet. Then rain. Then snow, then heavy snow with thunder, lightning, and wind. Then, by the time I was getting off work at noon, sunny blue sky with gorgeous clouds for the rest of the afternoon.
When we get rain with a lot of wind, the wind is often coming from the northwest and soaks the trees all over except for a dry stripe, like a skunk, on their southeast side. Here's an example.
