Taken on March 22nd. After Bill Pursley took group club pictures ( they turned out really great BTW) while everyone was still in place (except me), I asked everyone who would be at the Centennial Tea on the 30th to raise their hand, because I had not gotten RSVPs from all of them. We ended up specifying that however many fingers they held up was how many they had coming, because a few members had spouses coming. The ladies in the front row didn't get the word about putting up just one finger for themselves or two etc. So they're holding up five fingers each. The two seated on the far left were not going to be able to be with us. I'm posting this on the 30th. We had the 100th anniversary Centennial Tea this afternoon. It went beautifully, I'm happy to report. Whew! Now I can turn my attention back to other things.
This is absolutely delightful. I love the sense of fun in this picture. I came home after a long day at work and opened up 365 and this was on my home page! It made me laugh. I'm fav-ing it!
@alicias@sioux Thanks! It is that sense of fun that made me want to post it here. (That, plus the fact that the Centennial Tea has taken a lot of my attention and I hadn't posted anything on these dates yet. LOL) You know, I think I do like this even better than the "real" club photo we were posing for, even though I, of course, am not in the picture.
