Taken on Saturday out at SweetWood (my friends' land in Wisconsin). We took a hike out through the woods. Even though the trees are still bare (maybe because of that) it was still so beautiful out there. And the weather was wonderful (cold and rainy today). I took a ton of photos, most of which don't equal what I saw with my eyes. I'm posting this because I need to fill my last April Friday slot with green. The moss covered rocks and logs provided a great counterpoint to the predominant brown.
So you are not getting spring yet? Oh my. It will come. I think moss is the most amazing "stuff!" So many kinds and so many tiny parts we don't really think about.
Nice composition and color.
We are away, but will be back on Wednesday, so I will attempt your challenge - for you - I would like you to try a panning photo
@espyetta We have (or had -- today is cold overcast, and rainy) spring in Kansas. In Wisconsin this year they are a couple or three weeks behind us. My daffodils (all three of them) are finished. Theirs are just coming up out of the ground. There were some small wildflowers in bloom, and crocuses. The trees were still mostly bare. I totally agree with you about mosses. Amazing variety.
@hjbenson I have not forgotten about the challenge you gave me. But neither have I done it yet. I hope to try panning shots next week. Stay tuned. I will tag you when I post.
