Friday was the culmination of the sororities' week of recruitment. At the end of Bid Day, when the new members of each house have been decided, the current members of all the sororities gather on a big grassy area on campus. One by one the houses greet their new members who come running toward them, ending in hugs, high spirits, and much excitement. I stumbled upon the event last year and took some photos. So this year I found out when it was happening and took some more. Since my ability to get clear pictures of the action that are (relatively speaking) not blurry, was spotty, this group of new Chi Omega members doesn't match up with the photo I'm posting next of Zeta Tau Alpha girls as they catch sight of their new recruits coming toward them. http://365project.org/mcsiegle/365/2014-08-23
