I went a little far with my collage experiments using outtakes of Peanut the cat that showed only fur. Here's the first one I did and posted: http://365project.org/mcsiegle/alternates/2015-10-05
You'll have to believe me on this one that it started out as photography. It has morphed into something else. I may as well tag it for my get pushed challenge from Kathy Boyles, since that's where it started. "You can either give me an interesting portrait of Peanut or another cat, or do a colorful abstract of any subject."
@mcsiegle well, it certainly is an interesting colorful abstract! I don't know how you got those men out of fur but that doesn't matter in an abstract. Poor Peanut! Great job.
@aikimomm I am, I am -- though I didn't have it in mind to begin with. As I played with the collage, the face (scull or demon of some sort) appeared and it appealed to my sense of the macabre. So I just heightened it with the color and contrast and by the time I was finished things were reduced to stark red and black and so abstracted as to be unrecognizable for the fur it started out as. Each of the four quadrants -- 2 each of two very slightly varied designs -- is made up of 16 pieces (4x4).
