Subtitle: the get pushed photo op that got away (Staged Re-creation).
So...last week the theme given to me by my get pushed partner was “The Unseen.”
Last Friday, when I got off work at noon and walked down to the parking lot, I didn’t see my car. I thought I had walked far enough to see all the cars on that side and it wasn’t there! What WAS approximately where I thought I had parked the car was an empty space with yellow sign marking that spot for service vehicles - Tow Zone.

So, I steeled myself for the worst, waked over to the Parking Services office in the parking garage and told them I figure I’ve been towed, here’s my university ID, what do I owe in fines, and where has it been towed to?
Well, they looked me up in the system and didn’t find any citations. Neither had there been any cars they knew about towed that morning. After a bit of discussion, I came to the tentative conclusion that my little black Prius may have been hiding behind a larger car. I told them sorry I wasn’t always like that (white lie?) and walked back down to the parking lot.
Thank the Lord, the Prius had de-cloaked by the time I got there and it was indeed hiding directly behind a larger black car. What a waste of time! But it did brighten my day to know that whatever else might happen, I had NOT been towed. It wasn’t until later that afternoon I realized I had missed the opportunity to get a photo for my challenge.
Note the black car just visible behind the truck. That is NOT my little Prius. It’s hiding behind that, in a direct re-creation of Friday’s drama.
