My get pushed challenge this week from Val was street photography. Good challenge as it’s difficult (intimidating) for me. I didn’t really do it justice, I’m afraid. I haven’t gone a lot of places except to work and campus is very deserted. On Saturday (1/9) I went to the supermarket in the morning and my “street” photography is actually parking lot photography. Better than nothing. Posting this back on the blank Thursday spot.
@valpetersen Here’s the morning photo. Not much in the way of photography, I’m afraid.

Those carts are getting pushed, and you met the challenge perfectly.

Street photography is a challenge to be sure. You've a good story here, though!

I like it and think it really works!

well, street photography is tricky when no-one is out on the street - good choice to head to a supermarket car park - I'd have done the same!

Street photography in the US is difficult because people are always in their cars going somewhere instead of walking as they do in other countries

@grammyn @valpetersen @plainjaneandnononsense @aikiuser @aikimomm For me it’s hard because I’m so timid about whether people are ok with me taking their pictures. Easier if it’s people doing their job like this guy — and, of course he had his back turned! Less intimidating to photograph other people from behind 🤣

I agree. I had this challenge awhile back and all I could do was stand on the side of the road and take a photo of a car going by.
