Crypticon KC 2015

My get-pushed challenge from Megan Ludgate @ludgate for the second week in a row that we are paired together is the same challenge as last week (she and I agreed we'd spend more time on them). She challenged me to self portrait.

OK I know these pictures were taken by other people so they aren't self portraits. But they do represent a stretching beyond my comfort zones. When these folks at Crypticon yesterday suggested I pose with them, I went ahead and did it. On the left is James Balsamo, an independent filmmaker and a really nice guy. The woman working with him suggested I pose with him. I thought I was done after doing that. But then the ladies of the Sinful Sideshow said to come on and pose with them after their performance outside. I look really washed out in that picture; the wind was blowing my hair back and I was still holding my glasses in my hand, having taken them off to be able to see what I'm getting with the camera. It's particularly hard outside in the sunlight.

When I came home I did take a "selfie" with the
DVD I bought from James Balsamo. It's posted here:

Whoa! Sounds like a cool event. Glad you stepped out of your comfort zone, even if it wasn't exactly a self portrait, that's the purpose of the get pushed challenges anyway!
