Flinders Bay Jetty Ruins P1265497

We drove across to Augusta to spend Australia Day at Flinders Bay. Flinders Bay was in important Winter port for the early timber industry. The timber industry went into a rapid decline in the early 1900s and both this jetty and the jetty at Hamelin Bay slowly fell into disrepair.
