I had a glorious morning. Graham and his cousin had another game of golf this morning and I decided to go for a walk along a bush path near the course. The bird song was beautiful and the wrens were hopping about beside the path.
A little further along I came across this kookaburra posing beautifully on top of a grass tree flower spike.
@ludwigsdiana I'm not sure if golf courses in the rest of Australia are open yet. Now that we can gather in groups of up to 10, I'm thinking about joining the boys more often - just for the walk and photography :)
Great work on the portrait of the bird -- light in its eye, and wonderful details. How lovely to walk along the course...a perfect place to capture wildlife, I've found.
Brilliant picture! The Kookaburras must have all had a makeover - I caught a great of one this morning - it seemed fluffier and brighter than usual - like yours!
