The Track Looked Deceptively Firm......

but then it gave way under the Toyota. Luckily for us, we were not in the lead. The rescue gear came out and the Toyota was soon back on terra firma. The wildflowers just off the track were beautiful so we wandered around taking photos before heading back to camp.

@joansmor They are called Treds and are a very common 4WD accessory here Joan. I imagine that they would work in snow as they are designed to give you traction when bogged.
