Performing His Acrobatics

Catching the American Lady on the button ball bush one more day. Usually by now these bushes are covered with several kinds of butterflies - but not this year.

A friend was just commenting today he hadn't seen very many butterflies this year. Everything up here is running "late" so I'm not sure if they'll show up eventually or what. I do know it was an extremely cold winter here and a cold and wet Spring. The butterflies don't seem to do well with that. On a good note, the Gypsy moths don't do well in it either! Good shot!
