A New Tiny Wildflower by milaniet

A New Tiny Wildflower

Back to walking inside today as the rain was pretty steady. (The walk goes faster but sure is boring!) Spotted these - maybe 1/2" - yellow flowers near the creek - not sure what it is, but liked its curly leaves and matching colored center.
Very sweet- my first thought was that it might be a wild strawberry but I know that's wrong- so who knows! It's pretty no matter what.

My first thought was squash plant and flower, but when you mentioned finding by the creek, that ruled that possibility out. Pretty yellow flower, whatever it is.

Great capture. Not sure what it is.

We were ready to head to beach for our walk when the rain started so we walked inside too. Since closer to me home it goes faster too and I can pick up somethings I need while we walk around.

I love the flower and it’s center, as well. My garden center guy said “always have a pot of yellow daisies in your summer landscape, they lift your spirits”. Yellow is such a great flower color.

It reminds me of a cucumber flower. I know what you mean about having to walk inside - very boring, but better than not getting a walk in :)
