Hanging Out in the Backwaters

With the river so high and flowing so fast, the pelicans have taken to the slightly calmer backwater. Think they're such an elegant looking bird with their lovely feathers. This one wasn't giving me quite the snarly look they usually do!

@jokristina Us personally, no. The Arkansas River splits our town and it's way high - but there's not been as much local damage as there was in the May floods. Thanks for asking.
